SUMMARY:Congressional Scorecard
DESCRIPTION:September 27 Congressional Scorecard \n Media Event\n \nOn September 27\, BCFC held a news event featuring the release of the Congressional Scorecard for the 112th Congress. The voting index lists how every member of the U.S. House and Senate voted on unfair government competition with the private sector\, as identified by the Business Coalition for Fair Competition (BCFC). A description of each vote is also included. \nThe total score for each member of Congress indicates the member’s vote impacting unfair government competition with the private sector. A score of 100% means the lawmaker supported the free enterprise system and the BCFC position on every vote. A score of 0% means the lawmaker opposed the free enterprise system and the BCFC position on every vote. The information in this scorecard is provided as a public service to educate voters about an important national issue before the U.S. Congress and is not an endorsement of any candidate or party. \n
