A Blueprint for Private Sector Utilization
Click here Report of President Reagan’s Commission on Privatization (1988)
In 1988, a Commission on Privatization was established by President Ronald Reagan. Although its report was issued in the last year of Reagan’s presidency, too late to receive much action, it provided a blueprint for transitioning billions of dollars in Federal activities to capable entities in the private sector. At a time of record debt and deficits, the commission report is still relevant and serves as a treasure trove of ideas to limit the size and cost of government, while spurring economic growth in the private sector.
