“Continuing in the strength-in-numbers approach, last year NASBP joined the Business Coalition for Fair Competition (BCFC), a coalition of trade associations, businesses, and organizations dedicated to free enterprise, relief from unfair government-sponsored competition, and smaller, more efficient government. Of particular interest to NASBP was BCFC’s letter to the House Transportation Special Public-Private Partnership Committee, which stated that “supporting the formulation of federal policy on the use of P3 projects to address infrastructure and transportation needs should involve careful consideration of security arrangements on such projects.”
